Responsible for sample preparation for testing, maintenance of required records, maintenance of clean and sterile work environment. Reports test results as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications and Skills
Undergraduate degree in microbiology, biology or related scientific field, or minimum of high school graduation or GED certificate within six months of hire, lab or food safety experience preferred. Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to work alone or with minimal supervision. Individual must be detail oriented, well organized and able to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are required to work in team environment. Work schedule may include nights, weekends and holidays.
